The Bilge Pump is an unpowered component in the "Water" folder of the Build menu, that's used to pump water out of a ship's bilge.
Or, in the context of FtD, a bilge pump is used to pump water out of any space aboard a Vehicle that is below the ocean surface, but not actually open to the sea (the pump will still function if the compartment is open to the air)
By default, each m3 of water that is pumped out will provide 37,5 units of bouyancy.
